As our cities grow, so do the challenges with urbanization. Ever growing, cities consume more and more power over time. Systems decay faster than can be repaired. In our cities of the future, all public utilities will be automated, managed and monitored without the need for human intervention. The Andromeda Smart City platform enables the infrastructure for these smart cities to grow. We create 6LoWPan networks, enabling IoT devices to communicate seamlessly. Our Auriga series streetlights form the backbone of the network, while being smart devices themselves that enable dynamic public lighting systems.

Wide Area Wireless
Connect the city using municipal wireless communications, enabling devices of all types to access both the internet, and the cloud.
Up to 50% less power usage
Smart Cities can turn lights down late at night and only turn them on when they're needed: Offering up to 50% of power savings.
Devices are constantly monitored; failures are predicted, and if possible - prevented. Should the device fail, maintenance crews will be automatically notified of the failed device and its location.

Automated Public Utilities.
In the Smart City, all public utilities are connected and self-monitoring and automated. Streetlights dim when there is no traffic. Parks are lit only when there are pedestrians below. Monitoring of massive numbers of devices is automatic. Failures are predicted before they occur. Smart cities save power while better servicing the needs of their citizens.
Smart Streetlamps respond to changes in their environment. They turn on at the right time, dim to full intensity. Then when not being used, dim down to save power. As the city changes, the light will change to follow citizens and traffic.
Easy Power Management
Connected devices simply power accounting. Automatic tracking of kW/h and money consumption for every device and the city itself is available in real time. If the city should add solar panels or wind generators, produced energy is also tracked.
Our automation technology enables streetlights to respond to changes in network-wide sensors. It is no longer necessary to equip every lamp with a photocell, drastically reducing failure points.

Our Smart City platform equips the city with a standards compliant, 802.12.15 6LoWPan network. Supporting massive numbers of smart, internet connected devices.
Real Time Information
As the city's environment changes and devices react to the changes, their status and their power consumption (or production) will be updated in real time.
WiFi for the People
Our Auriga streetlight systems also provide municipal WiFi for public access by all citizens of the city in public areas, near government facilities and parks.
